The land of Imstenrade (South Netherlands) is calling for natural farmers to join an intentional community
In the hills of South Limburg, NL, is an old farm land that is connected to an ancient forest. Soil of clay and cob is laying here and is asking to be rewilded by natural farmers, one, or two people or a family who would like to settle here and be part of this piece of paradise. In our community is the connection to nature a central theme, within and all around us. We want to experiment and learn the ancient ways of living together with the land, expand the biodiversity and enrich our soils.
Are you looking for a place to live in nature and produce healthy bio foods? For yourself and a community around you? We have a land of 5.5h (with extension possibilities) where we will honor our ancestral lines of living in harmony with nature. We are interested in methods like Natural farming, Permaculture and all other ways that fit the natures visions and our wishes for rich foods.
Our goal is to turn the land into a biodiverse forestry and gardens. Building a biotope that involves all principles like water and energy to be connected.
Do you recognise yourself in this?
- Your fire is on when it comes to healthy food production. You have experimented with it and you can’t wait to apply it on a bigger scale.
- You have theoretical knowledge about regenerative farming and you have had practical experience with this elsewhere.

- You are a conscious and self aware person and want to learn from others. You have experienced community life before or want to make this your life-style.
- You want to explore this collaboration for a longer period of time and you are willing to share your knowledge with all the generations.
- You feel inspired to share your work with the local community and to make them part of it.
- It’s great if you have financial resources but as important to find these together along the way. We are working together towards a fitting and sustainable financial model.
